Seeking therapy can feel like a daunting and overwhelming process. Many people wonder if therapy is right for them and whether it can be helpful. You may think, "What will this person think of me after I share all my struggles?" or "How will they judge me?" I am here to offer a free space for you to feel comfortable, safe, and supported while we work together to understand your inner struggles better. You don't have to feel alone or afraid of the things you are struggling with.

As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker, I have numerous years of experience working as a mental health therapist. I have come to find that we all struggle with something, and our ability to improve ourselves through therapy instills a sense of confidence and humility within us.

I have experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings who struggle with substance use, as well as depression and anxiety. Much of my work has been to help individuals work through past experiences which contribute to their struggles today. These struggles can be anything from anxiety to depression, past trauma, substance abuse issues, and even grief. Life can be hard to manage sometimes, and that's why I'm here: to help you get through those tough days.

A typical therapy session with me begins with recognizing your daily gratitude. I enjoy bringing forward positivity as we often lose our positive outlook when life is at it's most difficult. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, holistic approaches, talk therapy, and motivational interviewing to help clients meet their goals. I am here to listen and provide empathy and warmth as you work toward understanding yourself and your struggles. I offer no judgment and maintain a sense of open-mindedness throughout our relationship. I will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and practice new means of improving yourself.

As one of my favorite instructors said, "A social worker is here to help others help themselves".

So, reach out and let's begin the journey toward healing together.
