  • Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk-and-talk therapy takes your sessions outdoors. It can happen in a public park or on nearby trails. This alternative provides a new approach by infusing the benefits of nature and movement into therapy sessions.

Movement, whether a leisurely walk or a brisk hike, can make it easier for some people to discuss their feelings. Clients may prefer to move or walk instead of sitting across from their therapist in an office or online.

We have several therapists that provide walk-and-talk sessions as scheduling and weather permits.

  • Drug & Alcohol Evaluations

Drug and alcohol evaluations are an in-depth look into the scale of one’s substance use to make a diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. These evaluations look into the type of substance, the dosage, and the frequency with which it is being used to paint a picture of the individual’s substance use history. These evaluations give a better idea of a substance user’s circumstances and the depth of substance use. It can also be used as a guide to exploring and finding the best treatment options for the individual. We have several providers that can provide these evaluations upon client request, provider referral, or to meet licensing or monitoring program requirements.

  • SAP Evaluations For DOT

The Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) is a person who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT (Department of Transportation) drug and alcohol program regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare. At our practice, Holly Thomas is an SAP and can provide these evaluations to any DOT employee.
